We are always delighted to welcome people of any age into the family of the church.  We regularly hold services of baptism (often known as a christening) and would be happy to talk to you if you are thinking about this for yourself or your child.  

It is normal to be baptised in your local parish church, or the church that you normally attend.  To find out which parish you live in, please click here. 

We also offer a service of thanksgiving for a child.  This service is particularly aimed at those who perhaps don't yet feel able to make the declarations in the baptism service but would like to stand, with family and friends, and give thanks to God for their child.
